I like the potential Morris hire. He’s not going to butt heads with Gus, but Gus probably trusts him enough to listen to some of his ideas and tweak the offense a tad. I think they both mutually want to best for each other. Good for AU.

Norvell, Gus, Morris, and Freeze are all bros. I am sure Norvell and Gus worked something out for Dilly behind the scenes. Gus wanted to help Morris out and probably told Norvell to take Dilly with him to FSU. Norvell had no issue with this since Dilly was on Norvell's staff previously anyway.
When I heard a reporter ask Gus if he'd talked to Morris after his firing (and Gus said he had indeed), I knew Morris would end up at AU. I am sure Morris called Gus needing a favor more than he did to vent about the firing.
I don't see it as Norvell "using" us. And I don't think it will affect recruiting. FSU is going to recruit Florida regardless.

I also think it’s very interesting that all 4 playoff teams have HC’s that were promoted from within.
