Didn’t like McKinstry’s effort on that play. After Armani broke free, he gave up around the 30 yard line. I understand he thought he couldn’t catch him but letting up and not running full speed after him is not a good sign, especially only being a few yards behind him. I even understand he had cramps throughout the night but I would’ve still chewed him out. You gotta give max effort. That was basically the nail in the coffin. You never know, he could’ve stripped him from behind and gave them a chance.

To give Koolaid a little break on that play he isn’t catching Goodwin and he had been suffering from cramps earlier in the game. Goodwin is a sub 4.4 kind of speed guy. Koolaid probably 4.6ish guy. Goodwin is faster then Iggy was and Jav’varrius Johnson was at HT.
Bottom line Goodwin is high level 4 star and Koolaid is probably solid 4 if rated by me would be rated a 93. Goodwin would be a 97 if using the 247 style. That’s no knock on him but you can see the speed difference when Pinson plays up. The transfer Qb from Fyffe to Pinson has a horrible night. Kid had never lost a game and led Fyffe to back to back state championships, threw 4 interceptions tonight. HT’s front 3 is no joke.
Jones or any of the mods can change the thread title to Friday Night lights or something like that and we can keep the thread going for recruits and big games. Plus other notable kids that are up and coming or being recruited by rivals. Love me some good high school football.

How did Hoover and Central-PC end up?
Little Nix walkon quality? Seemed to have a strong arm last year just inexperienced and made some boneheaded throws early in the year. Definitely isn’t Bo for sure.

Koolaid did have his AU hand towel on during the game. So he did have some great attire on while playing

I think he has definitely put on some weight post injury. Not necessarily bad weight, but he'll probably tone our some over the season as he is fully healthy and once he gets into our program.

You mean Feagans at Oxford? Pegues was Oxford (MS) last year and is already at AU at 300 lbs. Feagans is a CB at Oxford (AL) and they got beat by 20 something at Thompson.
My nephew plays at Oxford and he says Fegans is all Bama.
