We've looked bad many times with Gus at the helm, but Clemson was probably the most embarrassed I've been as an Auburn fan. Whatever doubts I had before, they were completely reinforced after that debacle...

2015 loss to UGA put him on the hot seat for me. 2016 vs Clemson was the kicker. 5 fricking players at QB.

Even high school coaches would be fired for that level of stupidity

When he stopped going for real DT QB’s and thinking he could win with anybody.

I also knew he was no QB coach a long time ago. I had high expectations that he could learn from his errors to improve and grow into a more complete coach, but he doesn’t seem to have it.

Thank you CM for loving Auburn, but your time as coach is over for me.

It was the home loss to Clemson...can't remember if it was 2015 or 2016. I still remember thinking we had all off season to come up with that crap show.

The whirlybird play at Clemson in 2017 should’ve thrown me off the bus

Long time ago...when I can tell who will be getting the ball on each play...you know it is time...especially when others were wide open. Oh and bad recruiting not meeting our needs...I could go on but you get the picture...

2018 Tennessee was it for me but I know we weren’t going to pay the buyout at that time.

Indeed, chance to get a increasingly rare win at a place we never win at and he genuinely choked the game away while we all watched in horror

2016 UGA

He got me a little tingled after the miracles in 17 but quickly reverted back to his usual self in the SECCG and Peach Bowl.

That's what did me in as well. His use of Johnson that year was criminal.
