Anyone know anything about the extent of his injury? I'm hearing it is more serious than CGM is letting on.

If JJ starts next weekend, it would be because he had a good game today. Nick will probably be out for the year.

Craig Sanders style?

This is what I've been told. Just wanted to see if others are hearing the same.

It sounds like he probably won't play net week. I think it just boils down to how quickly he heels....and nobody can predict that.

I seriously doubt anyone here knows. He looked fine on the sideline. No brace, no limp, standing the majority of the game.

Even a slight tare to his MCL would allow him to walk normal, but keep him out for some time. Here's to hoping he's well.

If this were the case, I doubt he would have been in full dress. I would think he'd have some type of brace or wrap. He definitely wouldn't be standing on it for hours.

Dressed out. Jogged around without limping. Seems they kept him out for precautionary reasons.

Good. If it's Johnson fine. If it's Marshall fine. But I don't want us playing both.

If JJ becomes a significantly better passer than NM, I can see Gus using JJ as the primary and NM as the wildcat. I don't particularly like it, but he has done it in the past.

I will say this, even if it's a minor knee injury (sprain), it took me 5-6 weeks to get back in stride. I sprained mine my junior year and couldn't cut on it for shite. It'd be really nice to have NM at 100% next week for A&M, but I'm not very optimistic due to his reliance on shiftiness.

I don't either, but I think this would be different than past set-ups. A healthy NM definitely gives another wrinkle to the offense, so I'm pulling for him to be ready to go next week.

True. NM as a Wildcat QB is a serious threat running the ball and legit enough on all 3 levels of passing to keep a defense honest. Basically what KF was supposed to be

Yeah, I that would be one case where I wouldn't mind the QB swap during wildcat. Marshall would be an amazing wildcat QB.

Dude, it is Nick and there was never any question. The only reason JJ got the RS pulled is because we are pretty good this year, and Nick is an injury risk. He isn't very big, but we are runing him more and more because he is a good runner.
