Good point E.
On a side note. Rudy ford had 3 ints today in practice
Malzahn will name the starting line by Sunday
Cass likes the WLB much better than MLB. Said it frees him up to make plays

A lot of Cam's rushes weren't designed, they were option read runs where he had the opportunity to run for more than he could pass for.
The interesting thing about our backfield right now is that we have similar backs, not a change of pace type.
If you noticed, OMac had roughly half the carries of the main tailback because his were designed to take advantage of tired defenses and going for homerun type runs. We just don't have that speed now. Mason and CAP are similar backs and I could see both of them getting 12 to 18 carries a game unless one just blows up in a game to get more carries.

Mason and Grant may not be quite as quick as OMac but both have the speed to fill this role. Grant was a 100m track champion and runs somewhere around a 4.3

If Mason is used in additional roles, I doubt he sees the increased workload and sees 10-15 carries a game while CAP gets 15-20 as the workhorse.
Mason will end with a very good YPC though as he will always be fresh and running past tired defenses

Poster on another board said it was against the scout team, so I'm assuming Tubs.

I hope it was Tubberville and the scout team

I really wish we told Trovon to suck it up and shipped his arse to CB too.

It needs to be carefully timed so we can all be ready and swarm the rant when it is.

Cass has dropped from 254 to 241 EJ says he's moving around much better

Agreed. At the time of his recruitment, we desperately needed DBs too. When he played well in the all-star game as a CB, I was all for moving him there.
