I figure the defense will be ahead of the offense for a while. More depth on defense right now with the young guys being more ready.

Defense knows the plays coming cause they are practicing them, they better be eating the offense up.

You need to pull up that Ken Austin interview, he sure thinks Thorne is ready. And he has so many more tools around him, I just dont see how this offense cannot be a lot of fun this year.

Man, every year around August I believe this. Maybe this is the year.

Don't see how you could have thought the offense was gonna be good the last few years outside of the running game lol

Excited about tomorrow. Not gonna make it down but should hear a lot about the young guys. I wouldn’t expect more than 20 snaps of the starters live.

Tomorrow will be about finding out who of the young players can help this season. So we will hear a lot about some of the young DBs, linemen, WRs, etc.

It’s extremely important for Holden and Hank.

Just looked at schedule for the first time. Glad we get GA the week after they play bammer and have 3 home games before Nov 30. Fingers crossed thorne figures out how to think under pressure.

I don't think Thorne was the issue. Our receivers were horrible in getting open or fighting for the ball. Our poor receiver play is why Nix left. They were terrible.

Eh, it’s a mixture of both. He did have plenty where he missed seeing wide open guys. I will 100% put some of that on him not trusting stuff between receivers and OL. He did have plenty to work on. I think all the improvements will help, so a lot wasn’t his fault. He still has plenty to improve on (and I am sure you don’t disagree there, just giving my $.02).

How often do you make it down for practices or scrimmage? Just curious. Nice if you have have that in.

Very rare. Tomorrow is an OTV and donors scrimmage. Plus some media folks

Luke Combs playing on the loudspeaker during practice.

Corch you are correct about Holden and Hank. Ken Austin said Thorne is the starter, Walker has a great future (future being the key word) but the next couple of scrimmages are very important for the two aforementioned.

Look forward to your critique.

BTW: How good are you on eyeballing weights and heights?

(everyone all lined up don't lie.)

Are we sure we are scrimmaging today? In Freezes presser yesterday he said he didn’t know if they would scrimmage today or not.

When asked if the team will scrimmage on Saturday, Freeze says he doesn’t know. Says that the team needs to tackle, but is worried about potential injuries

The last few years, it was more hoping that I was wrong than expectation.

Horrible in pads lol. Height is a little easier. Anyone in particular you want to know about?

For the most part Freeze’s staff has measured and weighed guys truthfully. Maybe a half inch here or there on DBs and WRs.

Cain has been the best WR so far today.

Simmons has also looked very good. Feel like they’ll end up with a good bit of playing time.

I think Hank has won QB2.
