As good as Julien is on offense is how bad he is on defense. How the hell do you let a runner run past you without tagging and then overthrow the ball?

Butch Thompson performed a miracle just to get this team to Omaha. Not a single hitter at or above .300, 1 weekend starter out for the year, and Burns is clearly hurt as well.

Burns did not need to be in there and they just kept hitting him.

I had zero expectations we could even win two games in Omaha so I will shake this off relatively quickly

He isn't an IF. I know he played a little 2nd last year, but that was to get his stick in the lineup. He is basically a stick you can't hide in the field.
Anybody who has ever played any amount of IF tags the runner instead of waiting for him to run by you before you throw it into the front row.

Meh, we were playing on house money anyways. Next year we should have a pretty elite team with Tanner Burns and our starter tonight coming back along with elite freshmen. I would imagine we will be a top ten preseason team

Does Conor Davis suck more or something? We obviously need Julien in the lineup, but he’s been a liability all year.
