Several here are calling for Freeze's head after that dismal loss to a perennial cupcake. It was bad, and best put in the rear-view mirror. Firing Freeze would mean ponying up millions when the big boosters are already paying off Malzahn, Chizik and Potato Head. I was not aware these boosters have unlimited resources. Do we really want to become Tennessee? Get real people.

No one of calling for anybody’s head You’re being a drama queen. It’s okay to comment on the shite job that Rev Freeze and his staff did this week.

If you weren't so lazy you would do some research before you open your pie-hole. I am not going to post what Tilco and others have been saying since yesteray. Go read it yourself.

Either way, I agree with the message of the OP. We are stuck with Freeze.

There's no way we are still paying Chizik. I think even Malzahn is off the books now, or gets his last payment in January.

Freeze is our guy. He will be given a bare minimum of 3 and possibly 4. He’ll get his chance to turn this thing around

100% think he deserves 3 years. But he won't get it doing what he did yesterday. That completely falls on the coaching staff!

Who? Names, please.

Folks can be critical and vent without hitting the eject button. We can state the obvious, that losing at home, and decisively so to a C-USA team is inexcusable.

Now we'll have to see what CHF does about it, or if he carries on, business as usual.

someone hasn't been watching NMSU this year or know about their coach. Their main QB is a a dual threat and was rocking before he got hurt. Oh and anyone calling for the head of the coach isn't serious either. There takes a lot in getting teams motivated etc. There is enough blame to go around for yesterday.

Freeze has 3 years at a minimum to show improvement. Thankfully our boosters may be dumbasses but they aren’t that ignorant.

My suspicion is that Freeze is one of those 10-12 year guys. See some highs and see some lows. Probably make the playoffs 3/4 times in his tenure

Why are you so sure of that when we just fired Harsin after 2 seasons? What is different?

I love how some of yall just pull these numbers out of your arse. The coach that just had the worse loss in modern day Auburn history is going to coach here, 12 years? Who was the last coach to stay at Auburn 12 years?

I hope some of you that are hanging on Freeze recruting at a level higher than we have seen but in reality, that is not what he is doing right now.

I honestly think some of you are over valuing him in recruiting. He may be a good recruiter but Its not like we have not recruited well over the past 15-20 years.

Who is our last 12 year coach? I cant even think of one

ETA: Just checked. Ralph Jordan is the only coach to stay at Auburn more than 11 years.

Hell, maybe they will rename the stadium after Freeze

The dude is literally going around telling people the game is worth melting and actively trying to get people to melt.

But then he gives his "I like Freeze but..." platitudes.

If the motherfricker wasnt melting with me when Harsin was destroying the roster then he doesnt deserve to melt now. None of the Harsinhards do. Our roster is in this shape for a reason. Once Freeze builds up a roster and then we have to deal with a Memphis loss then I will pounce on Freeze!

Freeze seems to be doing very good at recruiting, at least better than our last 3 coaches. There is a reason Saban and Smart can change coordinators every two years with no drop off because of the insane talent they keep bringing in.
