Infidelity or not, Cadillac should have left after this year to grow as a coach

Actually Caddy probably should have never got the position. He was at IMG and we didn’t land a single player there that he was even around.

Caddy should try to find some tiny school to let him be a head coach. He doesn’t have the skills to be anything more than a lower level running backs coach or learn to be a head coach. That’s no knock on Caddy it’s just who he is.

Not shocking given the rumors that were floating around. I just hope it doesn’t point towards some of the deeper issues that were being alluded to earlier in the week.
Well Freeze seems to be pushing towards getting all distractions and conflicts from the staff. Everyone likes CW but there was the stir up to give him the HC job and again after the NMSt game. We don't know but there could be a little bad blood in the staff/team for him to not get the job and would be better without it. Not saying he was doing it but it could've been there.

That or he thought he wasn't doing a good enough job. He would have never been able to fire him publicly without backlash and I'm sure CW wouldn't want bad PR for Auburn even if he was being fired.

The rumor is they were practicing the baby making process.

One of my favorite practices.

One day, if I practice enough, I will get good at it

And thats my story

Let’s stop commenting on the rumor like little old ladies. We get the gist. CW will always be a legend; now we pray for him and his family to heel and move forward stronger. Maybe time to close this tbread

That is not how this board works. I think we have learned in the past few months that anything other than porn goes here and thats what people want. Not speaking directly for myself

In all, if its true, its a good thing Auburn did not hire him as head coach like so many wanted.

I think everyone loves and respects Caddy for being who he is and doing what he has done over the years but he, like everyone, must face their mistakes

Every program needs casual fans, and needs them in significant numbers to be elite. But casual fans (like those that insisted Auburn promote a former superstar player without coordinator experience to run a 9 figure sports enterprise) should never be near the actual decision-making process. What a colossal misstep that would have been. Thankfully, cooler and more experienced heads prevailed in that decision.

This is all going to be fine in time. For now it’s just another reason for the competition to laugh at Auburn. Culture changes don’t usually come without rock bottom. Hopefully Auburn is close to turning the corner.

Let’s take the statement for what it was. Nothing to see here.
