The Bamaham News voters in their preseason column seem to think so.

I don't think he will make the trip from Austin to the Big Apple.

I dont see him going off with a heisman moment.

Against elite vs elite

Zabion Brown bottled him up all game and then Cam choked when a tie was possible.

Kobe would call him soft

No. Only because Arch would win it over him if he has a great year. I don’t hate Cam. Can’t blame the kid in today’s world of NIL. I’d do the exact same thing if given the money and I love Auburn. 4 million is a lot of money for anyone. It’s even more for a 20 yr old.

He wasn't exactly our favorite player when he was playing for Auburn.

Likes watches and looking cool more than becoming a great football player.

He wasn't a good fit under Freeze. The only routes he was targeted on were....just run a go and the qb will toss it up! Im hoping we see an actual offense this season

If we’re going to shite on a player, let’s at least shite in one that actually sucked.

Outside of X, CC was absolutely our best and most talented player.

How about blame Hugh Freeze for wasting his talent. This is the same coach that attempted to call plays on Saturdays after golfing all week and not being at practice. There’s a reason the Derrick Nix offense looked world’s better. Oh, and maybe blame the QB play. It wasn’t good either.

CC biggest moments:

1. Fumble against Alabama
2. Great catch against Vanderbilt

I agree he has talent.

I think we should handle Cam how he handles us. Bo Nix left Auburn, but clearly never had an issue with the university. Hell, he even still rolls toomers corner from time to time. If Cam speaks of his time here fondly then I say we wish him well..... but if he takes no accountability for the fact that he dropped easy passes, had fumble issues, and shot himself in the foot just as much as Freeze.... to hell with him.

No mention of his games against Alabama and Texas A&M as a true freshman? No mention of his game against Mizzou as a sophomore? He was running wide open against Oklahoma last year and Jackson Arnold couldn’t hit water standing 5 feet away from Lake Martin.

Also, he completely dominated against Vanderbilt. It wasn’t just a “great catch.” He routinely made those in many games.

Lost 1 fumble in 2 years, BTW.

But yeah, fumbles issues.

He was good, but he’s gone.

He may become better than Rice, Johnson, and Chase combined.

I’m bitter that he left. I wish things were different, but I’d take the big money too in this age of NIL.

He also had a flat TD drop against Mizzou one year. Both hands in stride.

He plays for Texas now.

Cam Coleman was immensely talented. Does not mean he deserves being talked about as if he has been some success story. He was soft and disappeared often.

He was our best WR1 last year but if you ask me who would have been more consistent I think the Eric Singleton guy could have just easily put up 1200 all purpose yards if we tried to get him the ball. He was slippery. Cam Coleman was moreso better for jump ball situations.

Yes he could make great catches every now in then.

However, what about stone hands? He couldn’t catch the easy ones. A few resulted in INT’s because of it.

There’s a high ceiling for him, Slayton had stone hands at Auburn, then went to the NFL and started catching…

I found Cam Coleman occasionally impressive.

That’s the nicest thing I can say.

Most are on this board.

The same ones bitter would’ve done the same exact thing he did, too. He transferred to play for a better offensive coach, at a prestigious school, with a QB hyped to be a high draft pick while making a shite ton of money.
