I think Boom needs to step away from football for a year or so. Maybe go be an assistant at the NFL where you get your arse whipped if you jump in someone's face. He needs to learn to motivate without acting like a crazed lunatic. Do that and maybe come back after a couple years and we can talk about Will coming back to AU. T-Rob sure but not as DC. Need him for DBs. I'm not a Crime Dog fan. Average recruiter average DB coach.

I'll ask again how are the players reacting just from the info out? They won't know until he has a team meeting but what's the fellas saying?

Pretty sure his agent isn’t Jimmy Sexton. So there’s that...

I like it.

Only concern is recruiting in the South. Which is why I expect he will keep some defensive guys...

No homo, but Harsin is a good looking dude. It matters in life. He also seems like a highly intelligent guy just from hearing him speak. (Then again Tom Herman is a member of Mensa and is struggling at Texas). His press conferences should be much better and more informative than Gus's. (Not saying Gus isn't intelligent, just that he doesn't come across as that very often).

So the outside package seems to be there. Looks, brains, well spoken, an unshakable drive, and a very solid winning percentage. I can definitely see how he would impress in an interview.

I have no doubt he can be successful. The question is can he win his share of 4 and 5 star battles? That's what it will come down to. Can he compete with Sabear, Kirbs, Mullens, Fisher, big O on the trail? It's shark infested waters out there.

So we paid 21 million to get a good looking guy who should be good at press conferences.

Should be fun.

Please, please, please don’t ‘bring anybody home’. I’m fricking tired of retread homers like Burns and Garner. fricking let the guy bring in whomever he wants.

I'm so glad we hired someone with no Auburn connections. It's proof, imo, that Greene won the power struggle.
