$20 says the gang bangers were banging the wife…probably with the judge’s knowledge and maybe his encouragement.

They can easily restrict the number of transfers a school can take per year. The players should be able to transfer as much as they want but each program should only get a certain number of incoming transfers per year

A good rule of thumb…
The things humans have been consuming for hundreds or thousands of years are probably better for you than things that they have only been consuming for decades or less.

Not to mention that “NGO” is a bullshite term. EVERY organization that is not governmental is a “non-government organization.”

It’s a negotiating tactic. It offers up the possibility that he is not a lame duck president. If he is viewed as a lame duck, it severely limits his negotiating power.
re: Is there such thing as a basic human right?
Posted by TheDude854 on 3/18/25 at 9:58 am
The only true right is the right to be left alone. This is unalienable and God given.
Natural rights are extensions of that core right bc they don’t require the actions, time, money, etc of other people in order for you to exercise them. You don’t need to violate the right of others to be left alone for you to exercise your right to be left alone.
No one else needs to do anything for you to speak your mind, for you to practice your religion, for you to possess guns, for you to publish literature, etc.
Other people’s actions, time, and money are required for you to have your own housing, for you to get medical care, for you to have food. Other people need to provide those services to you. If no one is willing to provide those services, then it would be a violation of their right to be left alone if they are forced to provide them to you. Therefore, they are not neutral rights.
If a government alleges that you committed a crime, you are due legal rights—an attorney, a fair trial, humane treatment, etc. Those are legal rights that apply when a government is trying to restrict your right to be left alone bc of alleged crimes. Those aren’t natural rights; those are legal rights afforded to you by a government when the government seeks to limit your natural rights.

Only registered voters in that politician’s district should be allowed to attend town halls. That’ll cut down on the faux, manufactured outrage the Left loves to utilize.

IQ tests are designed so that average person’s score is 100…50% of ppl will score below 100; 50% above.
So this guy is saying that, with all the dumbshits in the world (including this guy), Elon’s only smarter than half of the ppl in the world.
Give me a fricking break.

School’s Pelicans Night Give-Aways
Posted by TheDude854 on 2/11/25 at 8:55 am
My kids’ school has their Pelicans night coming up. If tickets are bought thru the link, they’re $30 for upper bowl tickets. But of course, buying them thru StubHub is way cheaper so I was gonna do that. But I was curious if the Pels give out any freebies to ppl who buy tickets thru their school’s Pels Night.
Have any of yall attending your kid’s school’s Pelicans Night? Did yall get any giveaways?

Here’s the Dude’s fix to the QB sliding rule…
Posted by TheDude854 on 1/18/25 at 9:48 pm
Instead of a slide being the signal that the QB is giving himself up, I suggest two options—
1- Instead of a slide, the QB puts his hand up (the hand not holding the ball) with his head hanging down. It’s akin to a fair catch. Both feet have to be on the ground when he raises his hand (he can’t be in a full sprint), so there’s an early signal to the defense that he’s giving himself up. He essentially needs to be slowing down. Also, the defense will not be penalized if they hit him within a yard of when he raises his hand and the contact—it’s not an immediate dead ball. So if he raises it at the 50, they wont be penalized if they hit him as he moves from the 50 and the 49. But they need to be pulling up. This may need to be expanded to two yards bc once the QB raises his hand, he becomes a defenseless player with all the rules involved with that.
The danger of the slide is that defenders are naturally lunging at the ball carrier’s midsection, which becomes the QB’s head if he slides, leading to the classic situation where the QB’s head bares the brunt of the impact and gets slammed into the ground. This keeps the QB’s head protected.
2- Do away with the slide rule bc the players (esp. QBs) are already protected so much that it’s become ridiculous. You scramble, you’re gonna get hit…pussy.

I’m curious about these too, as well as the Yarna brand descaler. Reportedly, they don’t soften the water; they just keep the calcium in solution for 2-3 days so scale doesn’t form.
re: Odd - Question - NFL Stadiums - Buffalo Bills building new stadium
Posted by TheDude854 on 1/12/25 at 12:34 pm
It’s about money for the owner.
NFL owners get most/all the revenue that’s generated from the suites they sell in their own stadium; whereas; the revenue from regular tickets is spilt with the other 31 teams. So, owners want stadiums with lots and lots of suite / specialty seating so they collect more money.
If the old stadium is built in a way that new suites aren’t doable, the owner pushes for a new stadium, paid for by the taxpayers of course.

True. I’m just going with the pictures that were posted to ProjectNOLA’s Facebook which would have been where they ended up after the carnage. The one with the wheels was photographed at Bourbon and Orleans.

It wasn’t at Cats Meow.
It was at Bourbon and Orleans. It’s the river-side of Bourbon and the Canal-side of Orleans. It’s across Orleans from the Bourbon Orleans hotel, and catty corner from Tropical Isle. Those places must have lots of cameras.

5. They know there were accomplices bc their ppl were the accomplices but whoops—the new administration is going to find out we create terror plots that wouldn’t have existed had we not created them, so we’re gonna try to sweep this under the rug.

Agreed.
The photos posted to ProjectNOLA’s facebook page show that the rectangular, wheeled cooler was left right at Bourbon and Orleans. It’s the river-side of Bourbon and the Canal-side of Orleans. It’s across Orleans from the Bourbon Orleans hotel, and catty corner from Tropical Isle. Those places must have lots of cameras.
The other picture showing the other cooler provides few clues as to the exact location but reportedly it was in the 600 block of Bourbon but I’ve also heard that it was found outside the Four Points Sheraton at Toulouse and Bourbon—another place that definitely has lots of cameras.
