I think people are just speculating that either Auburn or bama will pick him up. He’s having a great year though, averaging 21.4 ppg. He will only have one more year of eligibility after this year though.

Jacari only has one year to play after this one. I don’t think Auburn will go after him. I suspect he will finish up at UNA, but I’m sure there is a set of circumstances that potentially exists where he would transfer for his senior season.

We have a full roster to fill pretty much.

Not sure Abaev ends up here anymore. Cinci seems to be the hot team there now.

Those "middle of the pack" NIL funds can only go so far when you are splitting them up to attract 10-11 new players.

Is the Dunbar kid at North Augusta HS Malik’s brother or cousin?
He’s listed at 6’4”.
Going to play at Augusta which is a good D2 program.

Its honestly really surprising that some alum or some businesses aren't putting up the money given all the success.. I wonder if Bruce needs to bring someone on board whose only job is to raise funds. Basketball shouldn't have this much trouble.

After Bruce delaying the practice facility?
edit to remove (after reading AA7on how "On To Victory" works for basketball)

quote:He will try to play professionally somewhere. Being a mid major star will be better for him than getting 12 minutes per game of the bench in a power conference. With NIL and some indications about starting, I could see it. I’m just not sure Auburn would go there.

Same.
Bruce is part of the problem when it comes to money, he doesn't want to take any money that might have "strings" attached to it.

Surely people aren’t dumb enough to attach strings to money for our best HC

I think part of it is paranoia on Bruce's part, but Bruce basically said that at a fundraiser I attended over the summer,

I’m sure he’s giving some to MBB, but I’d guess the vast majority of his money is going to salvaging the FB program.

The team has made it to Maui. No reports of fights during the flight. Not sure how to feel about that.

They flew on a cargo plane that had a built-in fight room.
