I expect it to look a lot like Washington last year. Run the ball as much as you can, some short high percentage throws with a few deep shots and then let the defense do work

This. I think Nix will be able to make something out of nothing with his legs as well. I also don't think Oregon's WRs will make the same type of catches Washington had against us last year.

I will be curious to see if we have an effective RB rotation. That's an issue we don't talk about it that much. Gus has shown an ability to address issues in the past so I hope Caddie has a plan and they stick to it.

There will be no running back rotation. Gus will start with Whitlow. Run him until he dies then Kam Martin will be up. Once his legs are so tired that we need the cart to get him off the field, next man up

Profit

I feel like it's 2017. I also feel like this is the year we have one.

Gus was our coach in 2017. He is still the coach

No rotation and no quality running backs will commit to us because of it

I agree the way we use rb’s is a recruiting problem. But I would say we recruit high level rb’s, just not quite up to Bama, uga, or LSU standards.
I think gus, rightly or wrongly, prob 80% wrongly, treats our rb/qb exchanges the same as most coaches treat the qb/center exchanges. if you mix it up there is more of a risk for a fumbled exchange. Our handoff’s are not as easy as the bama and the Georgia’s of the world and take a lot more practice to build Chemistry together. Florida fumbled one at their goal line last night.
I say taking the risk is worth it For recruiting and performance, so play more guys.

And this is why Ellitor says you don’t follow recruiting.

Tank Bigsby just committed to us. 4 star rated a 98.23.

Mark Anthony Richards coming in as a true freshman. 4 star rated a 95.89.

DJ Williams coming in as a true freshman. Low 4 star but everybody and their mother were trying to recruit him

But I agree that we need to rotate more

Kam Martin

He is ok.

He struggles when picking up a blitz, but that may be mostly a size thing.

Catches the ball pretty good. Has some burst.

He must be a really good teammate.

I think we will see that with Caddy now in charge of the RBs. I expect him to rotate them more. Would also like to see more Shivers in the game plan.

I will melt if we have to burn multiple timeouts to get plays called.

You can bet on Gus calling a TO on the first possession.

Everything else we will have to wait and see. I kind of like it.

Argue with anything I said. We “can’t recruit running backs” yet we just signed 3 big time runningbacks.

Wrong. Gus will bring in Kam Martin or Worm on a 3rd and 14 and give them the Omacc wrap around draw handoff

Like I approach every season...expect to be let down, hope to be pleasantly surprised, and try not to have a stroke!

Let Bo run the offense. Don’t do a bunch of slow developing, multi-fake special plays.

I hate to break it to you but slow developing multi-fake special plays is the offense
