Been the story of both losses. Turnovers and defense being on the field too long

As soon as Thorne came in, this game was unwinnable.

Hank threw 3 picks in the first half.

Thorne actually hit some throws and the one pick he threw was backslapping all Cam alligator arming it.

Oh look Thorne hesistating when he shouldn't hesistate

Im watching the game with an Auburn grad engineer. He says he would rather lose 6 with Brown than 6 with Thorne. If that sentiment is why yall are so mad at me then go for it. I wont argue.

Coaches need to do a better job...........but the players are the ones out there that need to make the plays. Our guys just frick up every way imaginable. Down and distance doesn't matter. We can't get off the field. We have WR's who loaf. We have RB's who can't hold on to the ball. It's just a clustermess from top to bottom.

That's because Hugh isnt serious about coaching.

Truth is his team looks like he has been absent.

We fail to do the little things well,

All this. He sold everyone he was this rehab success story for what he did at Liberty and grabbing some recruits.

But he is dog shite as a game day coach.

Maybe he should our fundraiser for the AD, but that’s about all.

Horribly coached, Horribly prepared. Sad that you expect them to actually do pretty well this season but honestly I only see 2 remaining games we could win

I’m not. Just reading comments here while watching the bArves.
It’s multi-tasking entertainment.
Why be disappointed in one sport when you can be disappointed in multiple ones at the same time?

Thorne had to be the guy. No one wants it, but we have to step the bleeding as much as possible.

And replacing him with an INT machine will accomplish what, exactly?

Our players are fricking retarded. Doesn’t seem our coaches do much to help, but a lot of this shite is making basic football plays. These guys are not only not executing, they are seemingly going out of there way to find the worst possible outcome each play

You’ve legit got a screw loose.

Firing Gus with no plan was insane. I’m fine watching a couple rough seasons to finally get some stability, but a lot of people on this board seem to just want to spiral this program into obscurity by firing the coach every other year.

No one wants him fired right now, but this team is not well coached at all.

There are multiple posts advocating that. And I’m not saying he’s coaching great or even good.

I find it really hard to believe he’s coached his players so badly as to have a historic number of turnovers, though

He’ll make up more excuses or throw players

I still think it's mostly the players. Fumbles are on coaching 100%. I want to hear durkin answer for taking his foot off the gas. Lack of rpo is on Hugh. That's another question that needs to be floated by reporters. Hugh's biggest frick up has been stated all over the place tho. He has to hold himself accountable for not getting a portal qb. This game however was lost by turnovers. And a year 2 coaching staff can only take so much of the blame there. If Freeze had a blank check to go get a qb or talked himself out of one by pushing Thorne as the qb it's one of the biggest mistakes in his career.

I still think he has time to be successful but if he loses this class he's done. And he's got to do more if he wants to keep it. Is he gonna puss out and just throw his hands up in the air and say "I can't do shite without a qb" or is he gonna get innovative and creative and do something different? This is where I feel for the guy. He has to dig through somebody else's toilet to find turds to polish for our shite sandwich. He was handed a bunch of Go5 wide outs and an rb1 and rb2 that can't hold on to the ball. Qb is on him ill never say any different but coach is having to ball on a talent budget rn. That just is what it is.
