From what I saw, holding him out was purely precautionary at this point. If it was the regular season, he'd be participating. As you said though, foot problems with your bigs can always be touchy. So, let him fully heal.

The AU Hoops account released some practice videos on the twitter. Hard to tell anything from practice highlights other than Ngoy is a big dude but fun to watch regardless

Oboye is not going to be afraid to shoot from the arc, for better or worse. Owen Freeman’s absence has been explained, but I also haven’t seen George Kimble in any of the videos. Defense seems soft in all the highlights, but that may be normal this time of year. Narcisse actually has some hops as can be seen when he blocks Oboye. I hope those 2 guys stay healthy, because they are going to cause other teams problems.

A partial War Ready roster is at it again in the TBT this year. They have joined up with Red Rose, a team from last year. Had their first game last night. Wendell scored the game winner and scored 24. It’s pretty terrible basketball but fun to see some former players.

Defense does seem soft but the only thing that has stood out to me is that Caleb Williams kinda looks like a hooper, and he is running a bunch of pg

I noticed that too. I also didn't notice Kimble out there so it may just be him getting some minutes there as an emergency guy but it's good that he has that skill set regardless. There's a guy on the 247 boards that attends a lot of practices. He's said he's a lot further along than how he was advertised.

I like that tourney and it's fun to watch our alums get after it. I hope they keep fielding teams, though I know it's a financial struggle.

Keyshawn Hall got an extra year of eligibility, but I’m glad he won’t be spending it in Auburn. Can score, but a ball hog that doesn’t like a set offense. Also can’t play defense.

He had a good summer after being drafted, but was injured.

Plenty of time to catch on with another team.

Sacramento? Houston?

He's never going to stick in the NBA. He just isn't athletic enough. He needs to head to Europe and make some money

People made fun of me last year when I kept telling them Dylan was a better nba prospect than anyone else on the team and I’m glad he has proved me right. He deserves it

Cardwell had a singular NBA level talent - his defense. He's really maximized his value by working hard to get the most out of it.

Broome had a lot of not-quite NBA level talents. No amount of hard work is going to bridge that gap when you go up against guys who have more talent and work just as hard.

Funny how the different the roles were at Auburn.

People would use the phrase “jack of all trades master of none” here, but that’s not really the case.

Johni is a Swiss army knife of a player and got the most out of his game, but yeah he’s met his ceiling.

As you said Dylan just has that one elite area of his game that a team can justify keeping him around.

Well, that and he’s fun as shite to watch and a great ambassador for any team from a fan engagement standpoint.

Jonni is basically a black Drew Timme for Gonzaga with a white man's bounce and a better 3.

People have always undervalued Dylan because of his limited scoring but he's a legit 6'11, gives 110%, a great teammate and is freakishly athletic. He can guard all positions, rebound, pass and he catches the ball cleanly. If he could shoot even just a little he would have been a lottery pick.

I think as the years pass we will fully come to appreciate how good the 2025 team was.
