Jonni is basically a black Drew Timme for Gonzaga with a white man's bounce and a better 3.

Good comparison. Unless you are an elite 3 point shooter the NBA is played above the rim and that's the one skill he doesn't have in his bag

There was talk that they were gonna waive him if they couldn’t find a trade. Glad Johni at least has a landing spot here before he has to go to Europe or Asia to keep making a living.

I think as the years pass we will fully come to appreciate how good the 2025 team was.

I mean it made a final four and was one Walter Clayton buzzsaw tournament run from a national title.

Sports are cruel lol. Two final fours and our best all around player gets hurt, then we just hit a team with a guy that got hot at the right time.

I have fullly already been there.

And you know that.

That team didn't win by stars aligning or playing with their heads on fire. They won by being better than most. Gamedays were not stressful. The worst moment was realizing Florida was gonna beat Tech afterall because then I knew too much.

Yeah I mean dozens of outlets reported yesterday he was likely to be waived because they were struggling to find a trade for him

He will sign in Europe somewhere and make a nice living for the next 10 or so years.

Freeman had surgery on his foot last week. Not sure how long he’ll be out but when big men have foot problems I’m always hesitant. Wonder if we look at bringing another big man in with this new Colorado court ruling and open portal.

Has been the story of his career. Not counting on anything from him tbh

This wouldn't surprise me but I'm not seeing it reported anywhere else. Are you positive?

I don't think he has had any surgery as of today. They have been holding him out while he is still dealing with the foot injury, but at this point was just precautionary. Most recent quote I saw was that he was expected to be back for the Greece trip.

If something has changed, it hasn't been reported that I can tell.
