Throw cross country and track in that bottom of the SEC mix too. We should be making a change there at the top at the end of the season. We've been bad for so long I don't even know who they could hire to improve that.

I'm trying to figure out what this means. I don't love or hate Greene. We'll see how his hires go in five years. That's ultimately how he'll be judged.
Our last AD Jay Jacobs was heavy on staff. Green is not, either by directive or his own style. I have no idea. He's an improvement in representing AU IMO, compared to Jay Jacobs. That's my opinion.
For better or worse he's less beholden to hangers-on and alumni who want to control the AD office. Whether that is good or bad with Greene IDK.
I don't know who these "AG cock-suckers" are. I think most people just want to see some success.

For those of us who saw the two blocked punts in Legend Field and have been to football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, track and field and yes Virginia ...wrestling ....most of that team lived across the street from us in Auburn ...It all ebbs and flows like the river ...(I was gonna say tide, but would not dare ....LOL.)

I like you, but this Shug/Barfield nonsense about not saying the word Tide or Alabama is silliness. Alabama is the most successful college football program, ever. Auburn is top 10-15. I find no aversion to either statement.
Auburn has a great history in multiple sports and they don't have to be compared to Alabama at every turn.

One positive I found this year as we slogged through another avg shitastic football season: If Bama is playing the morning or 2:30 game, I can play golf at most clubs around Birmingham and nearly have the course to myself. It’s very relaxing and good opportunity to get some practice in during real world situations on the course.

It's kind of wild to think that as far as pure football coaching, I think Ole Miss got the better high school football coach in Freezus over Malzahn.
