When SW sucked vs Clemson, the narrative was all "We never let him get in rhythm. We didn't play call well. We rotated him out too much"
I don't think JF3 is some great passer, but this board can be a joke at times based on the hypocrisy
Despite being rotated out and having shitty play calling, JF3 has some 55-60% comp and some great see throws on his resume

Give him the keys during the bowl practice and the game. Who cares if we lose the bowl game. It's meaningless. We've got bigger fundamental things to address. Let him make his mistakes and make his plays without being limited by scared play calling.

They should either let him have the play book or move him to RB. He has some great throws, but does not get the chance. His recruitment and utilization this year are quickly becoming the biggest issue I have with this coaching staff.

Let him play in the bowl game and see what he can do.
Hell, he could win it outright if he shows off some amazing passes during the game.

This is less about JF3, and why Gus continues to walk JJ on the field. He is the worst QB to ever play at AU. JF3 should play by default.

Hell not only he cant throw, but he sucks at the zone read. He has no clue, he got Pett destroyed and Pett cussed him out. He didnt keep it on a ZR a single time during the game.

JF3 is not very good at reading the DE in the zone read scheme and his throwing mechanics are abysmal

I am hoping to see a lot of him against Okl.. With SW being hurt, he won't be ready to go in a month, I would like to see what JF3 can do. Give him the bulk of the snaps in practice and turn him loose.

Do you think it's actually a zone read, or a pre-determined hand off like it always seems to start as with these guys? These guys (JFIII, Nick Marshall, Cam) get handcuffed by the coaches and don't seem to be given the option choice until like 5 games into a season.

Gus should make him throw it more than five time a game and let the fans decide if he can throw or not.

This is a practice /experience issue. He may never become great, but any idiot can learn to become good with enough practice. Look at Radio Foster at MLB

We aren't trying to thread a needle in our offense with JF3 as QB. Either way This is a Gus issue. Sean falls over on deep balls, JJ has a funky release, Nick Marshall don't know da hut hut, Cam still throws off back foot

Based on what we have seen, I have no idea what occurs in practice. I still can't understand why the coaches didn't think JFIII was an option 2nd half against uga or against bama over JJ. I also don't understand why we didn't just suck it up and stick with him against Vandy. Look at the drives, he wasn't doing that badly. The fumble was literally a 14 point swing in a game we trailed by 3 at halftime. Assuming he doesn't make that mistake we likely win by the same margin. You can kill a QB's confidence easier than you can build it up.

No. That would be Charles Thomas who played QB for Barfield in early 80s'. Guy was the very definition of SUCK. he was the Jake Holland of quarterbacks.

I have lots of doubts about our HC and his offensive staff - but I truly believe they have discovered the same thing about JFIII that every other coach has discovered: he just doesn't possess the skill set to be a successful QB.

There is none
If White can't go you give the reigns to JF and open the play book. Tell him to go have a good time because he won't be coming out of the game.
