I think the follow up fumble scoop and score put us out of it. Bo lost all confidence at that point and the rest of the team did too. They didn’t quit, just lost that edge.

Don’t forget all the changes to tailgating have made it hard to get anywhere near the stadium. I think that makes people stay at home where 20 people can cook and eat and watch games on giant TVs with replay and yesterday I had 3 TVs watching great games while ours was on and heading downhill fast.
After saying that I love the atmosphere and if things get better like I believe they will the crowds will get bigger and better. We just need the recruiting to go the right way to dig us out of the Gus hole.

I think Richt and Muschamp may have limited Bobo. Definitely USCe talent limited him. I’m going to be cautiously optimistic that Harsin is a good coach and is bringing in the people to help him assemble and properly develop talent.

I agree he is the best hire we have made by measure of resume. I also think we might have pretty immediate success because of the talent we have and the apparent ability to develop it that he brings with him and good coaching hires. What we will need is a couple of good transfers/juco players to make it happen. There is a little buzz about the staff he is assembling that I hope carries over to recruiting immediately.
I can’t tell you how much I like being excited about Auburn football without having that nagging feeling in my head.

I agree with rebuild mode, but I think we have the talent that has been underutilized that can be as good or better than Gus’ performance without the drop off to 6-6 or worse. The hires he has made will hopefully give us some recruiting power that will pay off this year from Juco/transfer portal and even let us really compete out of the gate.
I am happy with what he has done so far other than maybe Bobo. He seems like he has been a bridesmaid and never a bride, but I also see he may have been limited by his head coaches to this point.

I just want to see a coherent game plan on O and Nix to get it right. I expect this to be low scoring defensive battle with home field at JHS giving us a 1 point edge. Them having to go to a third string center and another OL injury means our D May score twice.

In ‘13 while we were in LA we took a city tour, the driver was from England and about half way through the day he asked “do you know all these people?” He had heard about 100 War Eagle greetings already everywhere we went.

58-10 I don’t think Arky can get more than a FG until the 3’s are on the field. We will run the same plays as the UF game except Bo will connect, OL will push them around, and the RB’s will break some big ones. It will be everything we want to see. Hopefully this time it will stick.

Not sure we can get a big name OC with all the Gus heat and rumors. However it might work to our advantage to bring in a newbie that has been a QB coach looking to step up. I also think a great OL coach might step up for the job because he can be a hero and even if Gus goes he stands to stay.

I heard Saban’s comments this morning on the Iron Bowl and he is talking Gus up. He is hoping Gus stays forever, just like all the Bama and UGA fans I know. They all want no adjust Gus to keep on maintaining his mediocrity.
