Gus mentioned that there are 3 QBs battling for the starting job.
I was surprised by that announcement as I assume that means Woody Barrett is not in the mix.

Woody Barrett will get a look but he is not close to being ready.
I imagine he may come in and be a short-yardage, wildcat quarterback like Kiehl Frazier as a true freshman.

IMO i heard Gus comment about Jeremy being a team player, and how he is willing to do anything for the team
i felt like he was setting up the fact that Jeremy will be Kodi Burns 2.0

If JJ was such a team player then at 6'6" 250 with the hands of a former all-state basketball player, I'd say say he could make a decent TE .... But the first time he had to block he'd probably get PTSD and curl up into the fetal position

What if JJ is a Jason Campbell 2.0 and goes on to have a stellar Senior season. I don't see it happening but it would be a nice surprise. JJ for Heisman

Whether he realizes it or not JFIII is doing a good job of using social media to build support of him as the QB. I realize it will have no bearing on the decision, but he seems to recognize we live in a world where what people see is what they believe.

Not sure it matters what he does on Twitter, but I am glad to see him working on his perceived weaknesses. If he has the arm to match the speed he could be a slam dunk for QB and I am a SW supporter. The issue still remains no one knows until the first game and that is no cupcake to warm up with.
