He said it to recruiting reporters and said they could quote him... or something like that. It was relayed anecdotally by a couple of recruiting sites. Hugh was feeling it that day.

Bama supposedly offered Derrick Smith’s brother. Definitely a desperation move and likely only commitable if Derrick flips. His other offers are Alabama A&M, App State, and UNA. 74th ranked player in the state according to 247.
And now we have.

Teams can have 105 players now, so really no reason not to if it means keeping him locked in. If he's really 6'6 then maybe we get lucky and find a special teams guy who can block kicks or something.

They were increased but conferences could veri wel agree to less.

Say 90 scholly 15 walk on, 100, 5, and so on.

I don't understand the roster limits. Womens equestrian scholly jumped to 50. I highly doubt we put 50 female riders on scholly.

You had 85 scholarship and 35 walk on. We all know walk on were paid. They cut the total to 105.

I'm glad we can all come to an agreement that 105 scholarships is more than 85, so we have more to give out, thus have one we can use for Smith's brother.

It’s still only 85. Rules haven’t changed. They are expected to but for now we are still under the rules of 85 scholarships.

I thought the ruling was already agreed on?

ETA: the agreement states the roster changes would take effect for the 25/26 season, so for the purpose of the conversation, it is valid.

If they are getting paid then I know why we suck because we dont pay them.

I feel like someone like Nebraska has probably been found guilty for cheating by exploiting their so called walk-ons

Can he shoot 3's? Give him a football scholarship and let him play hoops during the winter.

Asking for Coach Pearl.

Well not in the last decade because they suck. They also probably don't pay 'em.

Why do football fans think every player can move to TE?
