Oh I understood that, I just thought it odd that so many "Auburn Men's" first thoughts were in the gutter versus thinking its actually a good thing to congratulate people who have done a good job.

If you think Auburn fanbase is bad and unrealistic, Nebraska fanbase is in a different stratosphere. They can’t accept that it’s not the 90s anymore, and they are irrelevant. Notre Dame fans too.

No because they don't have the same hard earned sleazy reputation as Freeze. You guys are going to have to get over being bothered by that stuff because that's what Auburn signed up for when they hired him.

It's a hard business. The kid signed his financial aid papers with Auburn and by all indication had suggested to the staff that he was coming. If you look at ON3, even the Nebraska writers had him predicted to Auburn prior to last night.
Turns out his mom went to Nebraska and there are some deeper connections as well to a coach on that staff. Transfer portal kids can sign papers with multiple schools and just show up where they want to.
What this does show is that Matt Rhule is a good recruiter. There was a lot of nonsense thrown around about his ability to recruit that wasn't backed by anything. I think Nebraska is up to 6 transfer portal kids already without Ben Scott (he technically still hasn't committed anywhere yet).

If what I'm remembering is correct this guy was a three year starter which means he has 1, maybe 2, years of eligibility remaining. I hate to break it to you but Auburn isn't going to be doing much winning in that time frame either.
