I think HF is a great recruiter and will land a top vlass next yr. For now he is bringing in OL and flipping some recruits. But we are getting further behind UAT and UGA. It has to turn around quickly next yr

Trovon has really redeemed himself as one of our best 5* recruits

I had an English class with him one year and he mostly kept to himself but was hilarious. I’m glad he has found a spot on our staff.

I am very confident that it will.

Very impressed with what he's done so far.

Link? All I’ve heard him say is both Auburn and thUGA feel confident in landing him.
can't link cause it's on on3, but in a thread titled Monday afternoon recruiting Intel he posted:

"FWIW, I continue to hear confidence is really high in Athens, GA regarding WR Rara Thomas. I never rule anything out, but I would be a little surprised right now if he picked AU."

Haskins made our recruiting guys into a bunch of Debbie Downers. Can’t say I blame them for being pessimistic.

When you can sign 45 kids, there will be a lot of 3* taken too.

The biggest takeaway is what a missed opportunity with the amount of instate talent in Alabama this year seemingly willing to give AU a look but Harsin was worthless and a potentially competent coach just didn't have time to recover it.

So I guess I was too early yesterday.. but am I allowed to bitch about our QB situation now? Missing Leary and McCall set us back a full year. We went from trying to turn this around in a year.. to fighting to get to .500 again if Ashford is out QB again. Hope to god the light comes on for Holden.

If somehow we end up with Sam Hartman then I will shut up and be happy. Don't try to sell me on that mediocre QB from Tulane either. He would be average at best in the SEC and is only like a half step up from Robby.

We are gonna end up with a tight QB battle between two running backs again.

Thankfully people don’t overreact to this recruiting stuff anymore. I suspect there will be another group of QBs transferring in the spring.

If you’re going to melt don’t half arse it

This isn’t the thread for it so I’ll make one on the main board but I’m curious what the fan expectation is for next season

Does no one think that Holden Geriner has any upside? Kid looked solid in HS. Hopefully he is ready to compete this year....

Its already been covered. The top QBs are already in the portal. The next wave is a step down and so far the only one that looks like a good option is Sam Hartman IF we enters.. we are 0-2 on QB transfers, so he's not even on the radar until there's something new with him.

Everyone else mediocre.

In his limited action, I thought he looked undersized and the game was too fast for him.
