Are you actually saying that he does not have inside sauces? Shame on you

Nor does any Auburn “reporter”. It’s like the past 2 coaching searches have taught us nothing.

Man… I don’t hate this team. Obviously it’s gotta gel, but the talent upgrade across the board (esp on offense) should be noticeable right away.

As I said I haven’t heard anything on the coaches making a decision on the QB starter.

Not sure if this is circular reporting or it’s actually true. Seems like weird timing to name a starter. Unless it really isn’t close

Rob Pate just said the same on JOX radio.

Looks likely that we ridin' with Thorne.

That was Freeze’s message to Robby in the spring and off season to grow up.

Not good if that is the case. Can’t trust selfish players. I understand disappointment but internalize that emotion and keep grinding

Really? He always seemed so level headed on the field.

Based on how Robby acted out on the field last year I wouldn’t be surprised if he flipped out

Of course it's not close LOL.

Been telling you people this for months. He's naming a starter before the second scrimmage even takes place, which indicates how obvious this decision is in their eyes. "But but but Robby is improveeeed!".

Lotta people been eating up clear coaching sandbagging. Color me shocked that Robby allegedly didn't take this news very well either, I definitely didn't tell ya'll that he was an attitude problem either .

It wasn't even 5 days ago that Mike G. tweeted out that Thorne was 3rd on the QB order lol. Some of these people just see what they want to see. Very comical.

You been telling us??? About 99 percent of the board has been saying Thorne would be the starter. We hoped there would be improvement by all the QBs. Iron sharpens Iron. But you do you

I don't see how it's weird really. Freeze said after the scrimmage that he thought he knew where the competition was headed but had a few more questions afterward. That leads me to believe that Thorne was the guy heading into the scrimmage last weekend, and Robby and/or Geriner showed some stuff during the scrimmage that bought them some more time. Well, some more time has passed and they feel like it's settled.

One of the big things Freeze preaches is consistency, and Robby hasn't really ever been consistent. If Thirne has been the most consistent of the three, then it's time to name a starter and get ready for the season. We are two weeks out from first kickoff and the first SEC game is just over a month away. It's time.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Throne throws up another goose egg at the next scrimmage while Ashford leads multiple touchdown drives again. Then what?

My sources are telling me it's Thorne.

You mean the same people who tried to suggest that Thorne was running 3rd, and then half a week later he's getting named the starter LOL? It's almost as if those reports were inaccurate??

Here's your actual "report" - Sunday's practice (directly after the scrimmage) had Thorne as the #1 QB on all drills. Definitely sounds like the guy who "led no touchdown drives" .

Hopefully it doesn't cost him his I Hang TV's gig, if true.
