What makes you think that? Any particular reason or just hoping?

Clemente from Rivals thinks we aren't done at QB in the portal.

Multiple outlets suggesting we’re looking for 2 portal QBs

When it comes to QBs, I trust Harsin a lot more than I ever did Gus but geesh this one is testing my faith.

If Calzone starts at QB for us next year, we are not on a good trajectory as a program.

But a better trajectory than if Finley started

I agree with the sentiment and I think most people here also agree. He’s better than Finley and has potential to tap into. Hoping the other guy is a really high upside guy

Knowing Finley won't be starting another game at Auburn most definitely sets us on a better trajectory.

Loy is gone, right? What about that SP kid? I just don't want 3-4 QBs on scholarship and never have a chance at playing.

Finley has to see the writing on the wall and transfer, if Auburn brings in 2 QBs. Of course, calzone alone wouldn’t strike fear into him leaving though.

Caleb has upside. Don’t worry

Loy is gone. The other guy you’re talking about isn’t on scholarship

For 2022 we have (as of now):

Calzada
Finley
Dee Davis
Holden Geriner

I’d be surprised if Finley stuck around if we added another guy

I could see Finley being decent for UAB or South Alabama

I'd be surprised if Davis and Finley stuck around if we brought in 2. The fact that he didn't see a single snap in the bowl game tells us what the staff thinks of him at this time.

Where is this talk of bringing in 2?

I have only heard we are going after one of the top tier guys or Calzada as a fallback.
