Thanks for the summation

I think Harsin has a good eye for talent so I think he will hit a homerun in the portal...or at least that is what im hoping for

Thanks Jonesy.

Did I read somewhere they might try Caleb Wooden at LB if he could put on some weight?

Wonder if we pick up someone like Jones as a DT in the portal if they consider moving Wright back to OL.

I agree with another poster on here about Frazier. He saw little playing time last season and we will have six TEs on the roster, if Shenker does not come back. He needs to put on a few lbs and move to OT.

18 signees leaves a lot of room to pick up the rest of the hs linemen we have targeted and enough in the portal to help with the issues.

We get Copeland as a transfer and we will forget about that other WR we were recruiting.

The eye for talent thing will be beneficial also to close out this class. We still have 7 spots and all but about 6-8 teams are still short of recruits like us. We should be basically all on even playing field with the kids left. So finding that kid rated between 200-400 nationally to finish out the class and which ones to go after will be a good indication of talent evaluation. If story sticks and m’ba has committed we have what 6 available spots. That’s make or break type numbers for a class. They don’t have to be stars but contributable depth

I called the Frazier to OT way back in the cupcake game when I saw him run out for a route. I think he was on kick protection early in the year and got run over so would fit right in with our OTs… only half kidding

Just my opinion, but I think he would transfer back to a Texas school before he did that. I still am counting on at least 1 TE and 1 DB to transfer.

I was just making a political similarity that Randy could understand is all.

Was it too much?

I thought i was not that harsh. I’m trying to be a lot more kinder here. Sorry Randy I didn’t mean to call you little.

6’6” 340

That’s big dude

4 star out of high school. From Alabama. Played in all 13 games as a freshman. 3 years left.

High school scouting report
quote:

Massive human being, knock-kneed with length and bulk. Really effective as a space eater in high school. Difficult to move. Nimble and athletic for a big-bodied kid. Capable of collapsing the pocket when he wants to. Has the length to disrupt throwing lanes. Far from a finished product. Seems to be content with stalemates too often at the line of scrimmage. Inconsistent motor and doesn’t always react as quickly as you’d like. Not as consistently physical as he should be. Body may be better suited for the offensive line. Body type presents him as an upside prospect with the potential to be a power five starter and impact player. With development, could become a mid to late-round NFL Draft pick if not higher but he needs work.
