True. The DEs were a good rotation this year. In the middle was thin.

I don’t remember us ever being so involved from players and coaches from the west coast. Is he just familiar with these players or does he have long-standing connections?

Boise St coaches would definitely be recruiting a lot of the same athletes that Oregon touches. An 8 hour drive separates the two schools.

He played at Calera and was a big time recruit originally. However he did put on bad weight his Sr season and dropped big in the rankings. Then ended up at Oregon

I think we were the first in state school to offer him but when he got rated as a 5 star originally he was all Bama. Bama led the entire way until he dropped. Can remember how far exactly he dropped but from a 5 star to a project 4 star.

There are more southeast kids on their roster as well. Guess we will see what holds out there in Oregon

Probably need a continuous portal thread because it will be opening and closing so often there will really be no end. Because players can enter at anytime
