I wish we could get in on Travis Hunter, but I think Kirby has wormed his way into that one.

The reality is that LSU is going to fire Coach O, hire some really big name coach and keep most of their recruits.

Possible but they don't have a ton of money right now apparently and their current admin. are more interested in being woke than being good at football.

Yea, I hope he somehow sticks with FSU.

A lot of good chatter on there the last couple days. Hars is coming in hot on some key recruits of need for his team. His plan took some time to germinate but some seeds are starting to take root. He’s gonna sign a solid if not spectacular class. Right guys with the right temperament.

Why is Easton Harris ranked so low? He has quite the offer list from some really good football teams. I mean I am sure they don't list all the offers they receive but to me his offer list shows me he must be pretty good. His offers are better than our highest rated recruit in Caden Story right now.

He’s relatively new to OL. Played both ways at Beauregard and really just focused on OL once he got to Auburn this year.

He’s definitely still learning the position. His frame and athleticism is certainly there. I really like his hands. He doesn’t just rely on pure strength in the way that a lot of tackles do at the high school level.

But if you watch his tape versus Bobo’s (a guy that’s well coached on OL and has played it a lot) you can see a difference. Bobo plays fast and uses leverage well. His highlights are filthy but he doesn’t have the athletic ceiling that Harris does. Not as fast and his toolbox isn’t as deep. IMO, it’s why Bobo is the perfect center. He can physically match up against DTs and he’s had better coaching than nearly any OL prospect so he should understand offense well. Doesn’t have to be as technical inside with bigger athletes to guard and won’t have to worry as much about speed.

I think if Eston made the move to Auburn earlier he’d have a higher rating with better coaching and experience earlier

Harris is underrated a little he should be right on the line for a 3/4 star. Caden is overrated and is ranked off of meeting measurables. Plus his brother was highly rated. Bobo is slightly underrated and will move up some. Powell is underrated but may or may not move up some. Alston is overrated in my opinion. Holden is rated about correctly. Fair a little underrated. Omari overrated especially as a WR.

Just my opinions obviously

Jonesy I’ve watched Hunter Osbourne again. I just don’t see an SEC level DE/DT. He still has over a year to proof his worth but for me he seems like a G5 level talent. We should recruit him just based off location and potential but he definitely shouldn’t be anywhere near the top of our board especially with the number of top DL in Bama Georgia and Florida. Heard he’s a great kid and works hard so maybe a solid spring and summer and more strength and agility work will get him to P5 level but just my observations.

Maybe that will cause Saban to cool a little and open the door.

Meniscus is maybe one month of rehab. I doubt it.

The longer his recruitment goes the better I think our shot is. I think he really meshes with the guys we have on board. I know EJ Harris tweeted something like “gotta get Khurtiss Perry to Auburn” and Perry replied with a “WDE”.
FWIW, he’s visited Auburn 8 times and Alabama 3 times.

I read MCL.

Wonder which it is.

Meniscus obviously isn’t as bad as an MCL.

LSU winning today was probably very bad for them. AD should have fired him last week.

Now they may be stuck with a partially lame duck, hopefully this helps us with some recruits or transfers if they pull the trigger on O.

Strange thing is I had heard this week whether here or somewhere else that LSU was basically a sinking ship. Everybody wanted off or was shutting it down for the season. And then they go out and beat Florida!

Florida stinks. Their Dline under performed. Have some reject defensive linemen.
