He will be depth. With Gatewood & Nix both only freshman, he will probably end up on the Malik Willis career path. I think who AU lands in 2021 is probably the guy to watch after those 2

Also, those QBs for 2020, are going to know we just signed a legacy QB in Nix, who is a 5 star. It is going to be hard to sign any 4* or 5* QB for 2020, therefore as Paw says, its for filler and potential more than anything else.
So don't sweat the 3* stuff for 2020, but 2021 is a different story...

If Gatewood (top 50 guy out of HS) starts and Nix (5*, legacy) is the backup, we’re going to have a tough time bringing in a top 20 QB this season. Chayil is a good get considering that. I know Aubie board scoffs at intangibles but, regardless, Chayil has them.
Not handing out passes for an onslaught of 3* guys at LB, OL (desperate at OT, so maybe), DL, RB, etc.

2021 247 released today, actually looks decent for AU with in state guys. Hopefully our play on the field helps us lock it down.
