Agreed. I really wish foster hadn't read yeldon's decomittment statement back when so at least we could say that if games are being played we're not part of them.

For a school that "pays" players, we sure do seem to lose many to Bama.

BM just posted some recruiting notes. Can anybody summarize? TIA.

He thinks Bama is the team to beat for Foster. Our coaches were in contact with him yesterday and today. Says he wouldn't be surprised if he picked any of the three. Auburn might start recruiting Cunningham again if Foster picks Bama.

His opinion is Adams will pick UGA, Bama, or AU. Wouldn't be surprised with any of those being picked

We're in good shape to flip Daniel

Auburn is concerned about Bower

In good if not great shape with the Alexander bros.

Ford to AU

Seymour is not a take because of grades. Auburn leads for Mix.

totally agree with that... it was very childish. It made it look like we were using Foster to get back at Bama's staff, and in the end, it's something they could use against us... i'm not saying they did, but it comes across as very juvenile.

All of this seems reasonable.

- Foster is anybody's guess regardless of who he announces tonight.

- Adams is up in the air as well. I am sorta surprised it appears who Reuben picks may influence who Adams picks (as stated by ST on AE)

- Daniel and Bower, seems like we get one and miss the other which is reasonable with Lawson on board. I'm happy with either.

- Good - great on the Alex Bros sounds about right. Would be a BIG get.

- Ford sounds certain as expected.

Assuming Foster really can impact Adams, could be an all or nothing situation. Who knows tho.

-"Can confirm Foster will pledge to UA tonight"

-"The TV announcment was pre-planned to avoid him having to pledge UA while at Auburn High School"

-"Foster remains actively working on Adams from what I'm told"

From the Bama insiders.

Bower has been committed a loooooonnnnnngggg time to us. I find it hard to believe he'd bail at this point.

So is he just not going to show up to school for the rest of the semester?

Agree, but his last tweet was a bit odd considering we all think he is 100% AU.

I can't say I'll be disappointed if Foster picks UAt.

Haven't ever been sold on Bower being solid to AU. Look at all the visits he has taken lately and the quotes from him to the media after his visit this last weekend.. did not sound like a happy commit/camper. Honestly shocked he's still committed.

So what do we think Lawson was referring to in the infamous "Hoke text" about signing a great class or whatever?

It is just simply amazing when you look back at what has gone on with the recruitments of TJ Yeldon, Cyrus Kouandjio, Brent Calloway, and Reuben Foster. Somehow, someway, Alabama always wins out in the end. Is this what we have to look forward every year in regards to the top players? I am hopeful this new staff can put a stop to it. Yeldon, Foster, and Kouandjio are stars or are future stars. It needs to start by landing a great linebacker to make us forget about the terrible play that has gone on since 2011

I was thinking about this the other day...the only high profile recruit we have beaten Saban for head to head has been Shon Coleman...

Just Lawson's optimism. I wouldn't bank on anything more than just Carl trying to rally the troops. He probably believes the majority of what Monty, RF, etc. tell him.. and I'm sure they tell him that they will be joining him in AU.
