If you think he's better than Mack. Your nuts. I love Flowers and love the Pats, but he doesn't have the game wrecking ability like Mack on a consistent basis. But he does have his moments, see 16' Super Bowl.
He's not really asked to always do that though, he's easily the most versatile DE, too, with his ability to play the run and cover. But He doesn't have the super Burst like Mack or Miller.

The franchise tag for Flowers will be well north of $17 million next season, so it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see the Patriots take that option off the table.
