I know Rhule and Campbell both have huge buyouts.
This actually gives me hope and let's me know Hunter actually may know what he's doing.
I'm a Kiff guy, simply because I think he's what we need now, but you could do a fricking whole lot worse than Bill Clark, who may simply be the best rebuild guy currently attainable.
He's awesome. He's done it at 1-AA and G5 levels. UAB has no... And I mean no resources., and had a little thing called a self imposed death penalty placed on them... It took SMU 30 years to climb out of that hole... It took Bill Clark 2.

I agree. Plus it would be pretty stupid to spend tens of millions of dollars just to hire a guy you could have hired last time. I say if we're going to break the bank, let's go after a bigger name.

Norvell will make somebody a helluva coach.
He'll play us and beat our asses.
Just like how Gus' teams drill ours by 40+ points on the reg.
It's not personal. It's just a testament to how historically stupid our leadership has been in the athletic department around football.

FSU is an easier job than Arkansas. Shitty conference, easier to recruit, probably pays more.

There was some post I read over the weekend that said Norvell was really holding out for the Tennessee if he gets passed over by Fla. State. Seems like a natural fit.

Nah, there are many Tennessee fans that would be down on that hire for sure. Plus Pruitt isn't going anywhere now.
