Good point. We might be the only one with half a team of players who don’t give a crap though.

Florida State on paper is WAAAAY more talented than us and they are struggling mightily.
Not that I care about how many other teams are sucking... but we should be patient.

I.E. .... you think ANYONE in Nebraska is saying Scott Frost can't coach.... we know he can.... doesn't have the jimmies and joes at the moment... and neither do we.

Maybe we can make a bowl by year 4.

Is it really THAT hard to learn a new system? Haven't these dudes been playing footbaw their whole lives?

They've been practicing for months.

And I'm guessing none of those team lost to North fricking Texas, excuse me, got their asses beat at home by North fricking Texas.

Not quite that bad but they have really been struggling as well. UCLA is 0-3 with two home loses to Cincy and Fresno St. Nebraska is 0-2 with a loss to Troy at home. FSU is 1-2 and had a scare against Samford. All of these programs are going through rough spots.

I'm not making any excuses but North Texas is going to be a solid football team this year. Still shouldn't have lost or lost by that amount. The much more embarrassing loss imo was Colorado St.

Quality thread BUT...

Nebraska/UCLA have elite head coaches and Florida State can recruit after a bad year.

We don't have either of those things going for us. I'm not saying CM is a bad coach but I'm not sold on him being elite yet.

Actually,.... yeah it is. When you've been slow down multiple TE and old school run game and go to
no huddle, RPO,zone scheme with multiple facets of the passing game, it is completely different terminology.

Like going from a Commodore 64 to a MAC.
A whole different world.

On the road, at altitude, even if they are shite, losing by 1 TD isn't as bad.

Getting blown out at home, after blowing a huge game is ridiculous.

And the fake fair catch..

But then again, I guess we're splitting hairs here. The program is a dead and it's clear we hired yet another clown.

It is when you don't give a crap. I'm not convinced we'd have beaten either of these teams if Bert was still here, if that makes you feel any better.

Also, it's not just a new system...but it's completely new reads, some complex. Not just handing the ball off and saying run that way.

Correct, none of the others lost to North Texas. They lost to powerhouses like Troy. I'd be willing to bet North Texas is better than any of those teams outside of Va Tech.

North Texas will likely be undefeated going into their game with FAU late in the season. Sucks we got rolled by them, but they are a way better team than is being given credit for here.

I'd agree. I'm pretty upset with how this has gone down this year and think plenty can be blamed on coaching, but north Texas is light years better than Troy or csu.

I'm completely fine with it. getting overlooked texas recruits should be our primary goal outside of Arkansas. With Morris that pipeline will pay off.

It's also ahead of currently ranked teams Wisconsin, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, TCU, Stanford, Washington, Okie Lite, Michigan State, UCF, Boston College, and BYU.

We were making BCS bowls and competing for the West with recruiting classes averaging lower than where we are right now the last time we ran the spread. People need to chill and let him get his dudes on campus.

We aren't getting the overlooked Texas O-line recruits or the often looked Arkansas O-line recruits. O-line being a positions that has been a known problem that would need to fixed through recruiting for 2 years now.

Now pick out the teams who play a schedule comparable to Arkansas's SEC west schedule.
