Agreed thats a HUGE assumption. Bobby tore Jimbo to shreds. Its a shame he either stopped recruiting at Louisville or struggled to in the wake of harleygate. Back to the discussion though we suck bc of poor leadership. We need an AD who will fire a coach who isn't getting it done. Mike is like HDN. He will produce when his arse is on the line. Apart from that he's lazy and his recruiting is crap.

I like what I'm seeing out of CCM with regards to recruiting. I'd like to see HY fire Mike and bring in a better coach. This program needs leadership.

Don't you'll dare tell me racism isn't a factor with Mike Anderson when we have Arkansas media people out here teaching racist actions and, presumably eventually, racist chants.

Racism is a SERIOUS allegation. Without any proof people have no right making them. Mr. Bolin should be sued for liable. Unless he can substantiate his claims.

Dude was acting like a fricking idiot in front of a client. Big time. I didn't have much choice, to be honest.

But that isn't really the point. The point is that even if firing someone is hard for you, it is still the easier part of the situation we are currently in. Especially if our athletic director has never hired anyone.

I understand people wanting Anderson gone, but it's an awfully big risk people are proposing by calling for his job. I personally don't think it's warranted just yet. Not when he has the youngest team in the nation. It would be foolish (from my perspective) to gamble the direction of your program away on the hand of a man who's never even stood at the craps table before when the dude you have right now wins 67% of his games.

We are NEVER in the top 25. His roster management has been shitty at best. He's failed to bring in top 50 players from any where but here. With maybe one exception, Barford, who I believe came in to play with Macon.

Local kids who want to be Hogs are the only real talent he has recruited. What kind of chance are we really taking ? You line up a proven winner then you make your move. 8 years is long enough.

Why have the VCU HCs struggled biggly away from VCU?

Sure Capel made it to an elite 8, first year at Pittsburgh yielded a losing season, this after he spent 7 years at Duke as an assistant.

Grant - Fired, not that Johnson has done much if any better at bama.

Will Wade - likely fired for being on tape discussing pay for play.

Shaka was the name everyone wanted every year until he went to Texas where he didn't match the VCU success.
