I get the rest but not sure why Joe or Jones would leave

I’d heard possibly Chaney, Ibby, Ethan Henderson and KES all as potentials to transfer.
Joe is being looked at as a late prospect for this year’s draft but no signs of him potentially leaving, he’d be far better served waiting another year or two.

Mason Jones isn’t going anywhere

It’s not hard to envision 5-6 leaving especially with the roster management troubles which have plagued Mike’s tenure here.

Gafford gone.
Have been long rumors on Chaney and KES.
Ibby was a reach developmental big prospect like others.
Garland need to go on medical scholarship and quit taking up a capable spot.

After all those we have Gabe, Bailey, Henderson all as bigs lacking shooting and a point guard in Harris who can’t shoot.

but I think Mike helped himself with the 3-game run there late and the way they played Kentucky. Had that six game streak continued on into 7, 8, 9, 10, that probably would have been it for him. I think we're more likely to see shakeup with the staff than we are to see Mike go....but I won't close the door on that, either.
If we're to the point that we're having to find small winstreaks and downplay larger losing streaks within singular seasons to justify keeping a coach, the people running this show are clowns. Can him or don't.

How would that 3 game “run” have swayed anyone anyway. 2 of those wins were against Bama, who had lost 5 of 7 and Vandy, who is one of the worst teams in the modern era of the SEC

Because we are Arkansas, it’s what we do. Always push things off another year, another year.

Ive heard the idea floated that he would join the AD's office in a administrative role.

I'd be good with that. I like Mike. Would be ideal way to transition.

The job in the Ad office is not a given anymore. MA is supposedly burning many bridges very quickly at the moment.

Multiple people coming out saying they’re hearing Mike’s gone

Surely it would have happened by now if true. Here’s to another year of mediocrity

Think what ya want, I dont care. Just saying what I've heard from people on the hill. If Anderson stays it's going to become a dumpster fire really quick.

Naming the court after Nolan and his speech should be fireworks if true.

Nolan went on record before the season that if Mike didn't win enough they "would fire his arse" just like they did him for the same reason.

Nolan has been consistent in stating what is likely fact that Arkansas as program has never and likely will never be able to recover from losing players unexpectedly to the draft or to transfers. He has stated this was his problem in the later years, he defended Pelphrey's poor performance for the same as he lost the entire team after his first year then unexpectedly had almost entirely new rosters the following 2 years, and he has attributed this years record and the previous not so good records in past to the same reason for Mike.

His point is valid, Arkansas has never recruited on the same level as the blue bloods where you can replace what you lose with equal or better talent each season. The only time Arkansas was on this level was under Nolan especially the #1 class in the nation which saw Pate (RIP) and Sunday removed from the team and the program banned from JUCO recruiting, the result was a sever decline that immediately followed. When the program was starting to get back on sound footing in the recruiting front, again sanctions were levied due to cheating that occurred by the Football and Track programs...

Another thing to consider on the recruiting front is the reduction in scholarships since the 90s and the lack of being able to take partial qualifiers today which just so happens some of Arkansas's best players back in the 90s were partial qualifiers...

To clarify, these same rumors say it's Rick Pitino.

I wish (absolutely not happening) he'd be 100x better than Anderson. The admin on the hill dont have the balls to do it though.
