Tee is a good under the radar name, but Long (if he's still here after this yr) has said numerous times he won't hire a guy without HC experience.
If it keeps going like this Long may be gone as well.

We should have hired Gundy from the get go.
Big miss on our part.

We'll probably end up with Charlie Strong and stay at .500 the next 10 years

Brent Venables or Tee Martin. We won't be able to get a proven head coach after Fat arse and his Fat arse buyout. I think we'll really have to go after an up and comer.

Gundy - Honestly, I think he's gotten too good and too entrenched at Okie St.
I agree but I think this is the first person you make say no

Lane Kiffin - there's absolutely no way I want him as our coach, but he would damn near pay us to coach at Arkansas. We'd have decent recruiting classes too.
It has gotten sad when I wouldn't mind this hire because it would at least be a very fun ride

Personally, I'd been fine with Kiffen. I absolutely love his offense and we'd finally have someone who puts recruiting first on the hill.

Recruiting co-eds first or players?

Both. As long as he doesn't try to hire them.

If this is the case then our football program is going to be down for another 6 years or so. Sucks.

I have no idea who we could possibly get.
With that said I would prefer it being someone somewhat young, with a solid resume, and a recruiting style/passion that will attract some top talent to the hill.

Chip Kelly was wearing a red tie and I heard he's at powerhouse RIGHT NOW.

Longs last two hires were proven head coaches out of left field. BP and Bert weren't on anybody's radar. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same kind of hire for the next coach. I also think if the writing is on the wall Bert will move on before getting fired.
Edit: not counting smile

I also heard he went to a petting zoo as a kid and really thought the pig was cute. Razorback confirmed.

I can think of only a few coaches that fit that criteria.
Pat Fitzgerald
Dana Holgorsen
David Shaw

Shaw inherited an already established program in the same way Bert did though. Not sure if he'd go for leaving a nice part of California for Arkansas either.
