We just had a 3 year starter, 4 star qb, pre season All SEC QB lead the team to the 124th ranked offense in the country and score 3 points against state.

Fair enough. But Pittman kept repeating "knowing Arkansas" Hamdan does, he also recruits very well and works with QBs. Traditional name recognition, NO, but he is a guy who checks the boxes for Pittman and can have an immediate impact which Pittman needs.

I'm expecting us to scoop up Marion from UNLV, with Odom having the consolation prize of the original OC he wanted coming to town to soften the blow - Petrino to UNLV.
It makes too much sense, so therefore it will most likely not happen

Why not bring in Tom Herman? We have to pay better at OC than FAU for HC. It would cover Pittmans safety blanket he needs.

I could get on board with the Lunney Jr. hire. I was in the Lunney camp before when he was the interim. I could see a similar Houston Nutt type of tenure in getting the instate talent to stay and maybe motivating current players to play to their potential.
I think Pittman has brought in talent... just don't think he can motivate them.
