I believe Morris has said that he prefers it.
Edit: Just read the article and I see they quote him saying that.
Also, Tom Murphy needs to do some research. The stadium had artificial turf for at least 20 years previously.

This is a good move and our turf grass department will really benefit from it. They always hated Petrino for changing to the crushed up tires.

I have ranted in this for a decade... Thank the turf gods above... Now only Vandy andaybe Kentucky have artificial turf in the league.
