I bet Rodney Hill would be a pretty decent defensive player like McAdoo was

I didn't expect this win to make me salty about Oklahoma State all over again. What an insane loss. Perception would be so much different for 8-5.

Or aTm and be even more different at 9-4. Or Missouri and be 10-3.

Season was full of giving games away.

But everyone agreed that if Sam made us "respectable" again, that'd be a win. He has. We were in most of these games and pissed several away. At least they weren't over shortly after the first quarter started like it was under Chaggie. Pittman has hit his ceiling though. We'll see how next year goes.

The extension and buyout were straight dumbassery though. HY only one to blame. Pittman had no suitors. HY bit on Sexton's bluff. If he did, then move on. This is all on HY. I can't blame Pittman for taking the paydays he was contractually due to receive. I wouldn't quit or retire either without my money.

Can anyone explain why Shipley wasn’t kicking all year?

He was awful in the spring and missed kicks left and right. I don’t think they would have ever brought in Ramsey if he looked like he did today the whole time.

I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll start by saying I did not and still don’t really know what all starters they were missing but I did know who we would be without. Knowing that alone I didn’t expect to win this game and if we pulled out a win it would be because Tech was more terrible than we were. I expected a sloppy, turnover and penalty filled shite show! But it was nice to see some of the young talent step up and make plays, maybe not against a SEC caliber team but against college athletes none the less. It was also encouraging to see that Green has the ability to throw to someone other than Armstrong

I met with some of the players the past few days, and most want to be at Arkansas, they were not shy about being pissed off at others motives constantly being what they are. They have a chip on their shoulders.

Tessla was incredible tonight, and wish we had him for longer. James was great overall, Russell was .... OK...

Green wasn't bad tonight. I sat right above BP, and he ripped them quite often, he still has that fire.

Talked to some of the parents, was a enjoyable experience. Jamie pittmans is all class as well. Great game, fun time with the family. WPS!

Replacement player skill value ($$) was on display in that bowl exhibition.

Skill players are abundant and I'm not saying they shouldn't get paid but our money should be going to depth on the lines of scrimmage and then a few elite spots elsewhere.

I'm also aware it wasn't a SEC team or roster we faced.

To be fair he missed like 2 weeks of bowl practices trying to make up his mind in the portal visiting others.

Don’t have to worry about him getting a girl pregnant cause he clearly can’t find a hole.

Good luck figuring out so many baffling decisions made regarding playing time under this staff.

Why hasn’t Dazmin Jones played all year?

He looked like Deandre Hopkins.

Good win. Pittmans cane was killing me. He looks like Danny DeVito as Penguin.

I'm ready for Pittman to retire to his lake house and be a good will ambassador for Hog football but there is no way I'd walk away from that money either. Despite what irate posters say on here... they'd stay in that job too.

It was nice to see Petrino showing some fire on the sidelines. I'm not saying he should beat Green like a government mule, but I think Green responds well to deserved criticism. Better to chew him out than let him sit on the sidelines and stew in his own juices after a mistake.

TWill continues to be up and down. About half of the games this season he's made fantastic adjustments at halftime and absolutely smothered our opponents. The rest of the time not so much. But I will say this, the man gets his players to lay some lumber on folks.

I saw it all as pretty meh. Sounds like TT was missing some important players which is of course now par for the course in non playoff bowl games. Kind of like our 2022 Outback Bowl where we beat Penn State-it’s a W but nothing special. The pre-game Russell in and out of the portal was a debacle and distraction. I guess the game was fine for fans of mediocrity and sunshine pumpers who can now say we finished on a “high note”. I’m glad we stayed home and saved our money and candidly I don’t know that I will ever go to another Razorback bowl game in my lifetime. Just not much quality entertainment value there.

Arkansas lost a lot more players than Tech and still had more talent.
