On a hopeful….or maybe wishful note.

One could look at our recruiting and think….hmmm….they are truly focused on building a team for years 2 and 3 vs simply trying to fix it all now.

Lots of decent 3 stars and low 4s who aren’t as likely to bolt to the portal after their spoiled butts touch the bench. Positional focus is clear, with more emphasis on defense and o line recruits who won’t really help until next year.

Given our schedule and the hole we start in….seems about all he can do,

Yeah part of me gets pissed when I see us competing for players with teams like Tulane northwestern Tulsa and Boston college for players but another part of me realizes they are going after attainable players and have to trust their scouting and development. Building for the future isn’t always sexy

That's fine and all until you realize this is year 15 of a rebuild for the program.

Results or acceptance.

Do something or stop pretending you're trying.

And what else would you have them do oh wise one?

Throwing darts in a house of balloons must get old.

I understand the sentiment behind this, but it does sound significantly more fun than watching our football team over the last decade plus.
