We looked like shite vs Missouri St. We derped our way from a blowout win to a loss vs Aggy. We get blown out at home by Bama and our defense looks as bad as it did under Bert and Chaggy.

Is this all we have to look forward to every season? If so, then let's cut back on the football expenses amd sink the money in to men's basketball and baseball.

I'm usually pretty level headed, but this shite has me melting.

You're not allowed to be. Must support the coaches no matter how inept they seem to be. Toe the line!

Complacency and fan worship.

We’re seeing the downside of the market dynamics of coaching salaries and contracts. Outside of winning-obsessed crazies like Saban and Smart, once these guys get guaranteed life changing money it’s natural to get complacent.

Also, we really need to stop this “rescued the program” hero worship. The same was said about Bielema after year 2. And then he got a huge contract and mailed it in.

Yep like when Nutt got a two year pass, his personality changed and he got lazy.

I hope Sam doesn't turn into a Nutt.

Yep. HY needs to sit all the coaches down and lay it out for them. Fire Odom, light a fire under Pittman's arse to recruit and whatever else he does. Things may turn around, but it certainly doesn't look like it. Pissed away TAMU game plain and simple. Bama is the better team and they should've won, but with the gifts they gave us there is no excuse to lose the game to their second string QB. Even without the threat of pass Odom couldn't stop them. Odom sucks hot arse.

We were flying under the radar. It’s an incredible advantage for your opponents not to respect you.

Hell, at this point, I'd be tempted to take it. Nutt at least beat Bama and Saban. Win the West twice. He was better than we give him credit for.

Extremely valid. We're a game people circle this year.

This won’t happen, all that could/will happen is tell him coach like you are looking for your next job because you are.

We already have a 7-5/8-4 coach right now. I just never cared for the smartass mouth of Nutt and his mediocre results weren't worth the tolerance. I just don't want Sam to feel comfortable and become soft.

Especially after we hurt the last two teams top offensive players.

I wasn’t a fan of the Pittman hire. Never been a sack rider. Thought he made a smart hire in Briles. Really wanted Kiffin but figured he would bolt at the first opportunity.

I thought when Pittman was hired at worst he brought stability and would recruit for the next coach. He is on pace to do that. Wish he would put emphasis on secondary and defense as a whole.

Some of y’all need to get the sand out of your vag.

Pittman is likely not an elite coach, but he doesn’t suck either. Most of you guys were ready to build him a statue last year. Now you want him fired after losing to a top 3 team that would beat 90% of teams as bad as they beat us.

This team was geared to beat TAMU last week, and the players (not the coaches) lost the game with mistake after mistake. We are one bone headed okay from being 4-1 right now.

The knee jerk reactions are ridiculous. We aren’t one of the 3 elite teams in CFB...surprise!!

Yes, but he was our only coach to ever beat Saban and the last to beat Bama. That was my point.

I think his lack of experience hurts him and it makes it harder for him to correct mistakes on his staff. He said before that Odom helps him a lot because he was a former head coach.

I like the Sam hire because he brings so much positivity to the program but he was never a head coach and five games in you are seeing why. Last year it was I felt like a cinderella season because Arkansas was under the radar and surprised people. Now teams are prepared and Sam needs to find ways to adjust.

I mean we lost three straight games at one point last year I’m not sure how this is any different really. A&M is like Auburn and Alabama is Georgia.

We really need to win next week but it’s not like we didn’t have our struggles last season either.

Kiffin is a great coach. I was berated on here for saying we should have hired him.

He calls his own plays so that side of the ball is taken care of. You don't have to worry about firing an offensive coordinator every few years.
