Why do you think admins decisions on coaches literally 2 decades ago makes 2 shits to Hunter Yurachek now? Maybe we are still under the GOBN but Hunter tossing Mike Andersons underperforming arse out in year 1 makes me think otherwise.

What did y’all expect to happen when we win 9 games and lose one game on a 2 point conversion, but y’all call for all of the coordinators to be fired?

Judkins would have hit that hole, but he’s a RB

I went out of my way not to get involved in the “best running back in the SEC” debate last year for a reason. The death of the feature running back getting the ball from a qb under center hasn’t been kind to Arkansas. That was the one position we consistently produced great in-state talent.

I watch good teams and I see players that get the best of one on one matchups. I haven’t seen that in an Arkansas uniform in several years. We have JAGs across the board.

That’s one reason I can’t write KJ off completely. He may not be an elite qb but he ain’t just a guy. He’s a football player. I’m a little nervous that losing the one guy who can punk some SEC players won’t necessarily be addition by subtraction.

There are a handful of running backs that are elite enough to be difference makers in themselves. They are few and far between.

For the rest of them, you just want a guy who makes good reads, protects the ball, can pass protect, reliable hands on checkdowns.

It just doesn't matter if you have an elite pure runner anymore, unless it's a generational type player. They're probably going to play about 65% of snaps when healthy. They'll probably only be healthy about 2/3rds of the season if you're lucky.

Guess what I'm saying is Rocket is big and fast, and fun to watch when he has space, but that doesn't really matter when it comes to winning football games. Doesn't matter that much to the NFL either

There isn't a running back in the country that could be successful behind this line. It's the worst unit I've ever seen. ZERO push

Or maybe all the hype, transfers, and NIL spend in the world still leads to losses?

Our bad, unforgivable, end of the world loss to BYU might look a bit different if they beat TCU, which they are favored to do today.

I still think we've lost the momentum that Pittman gave us after he took over from Shart Morris, but it is starting to look like we'll have the most difficult 5 games in a row (4 of them on the road) that any team will have this season. It is a fire your head coach run of games.

Terrible choice. An “up and comer” who is 60 years old? Recipe for disaster. One mediocre season at Kansas does not a great coach make.
