As they should. It’s already been proven Pittman is nothing without competent coordinators. In the nil era Pittman does nothing for us. The question isn’t can Pittman get it done, it’s can Williams and petrino get it done

That can be said for every coach.

considering most good coaches have countless coordinators come and go that’s a laughable statement.

But especially Pittman. He's not got the experience of calling plays on either side of the ball.

That’s laughable you would think that. Any lack of success Saban had was blamed on his coordinators as should be.

I know you hate Sam, but good coordinators make good head coaches. Talent on hand helps tremendously and giving him resources to get them would be a good start.

For sure, he also needs help with in game situations. That’s his biggest negative. Petrino will fill that void this year but what happens when he leaves.

I like Sam, but his days are probably numbered…

I don't hate Pittman, but it's on him to hire good coordinators and position coaches. If they win 8 this season the he should get credit for assembling an improved staff.

The chances this group wins 6 games, let alone 8, is pretty slim.

Yep, until they commit financial resources to buy players no one is winning here. And we’re talking 2 deep kind of money.

I’ll give God the credit because divine intervention is the only path I see to 8 wins.

I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about this outcome

I know this, we improved immensely at Qback, our RB's look great, TE is great, Oline has improved a bunch. D... Hmmm, a little less probably than last season.

Special teams were... err... special.I suppose

We lack DEPTH period. Let's see what the portal does and we have all summer to get a bit better.

I see 6-7 wins overall if we get depth.

I think we’re going to be good enough to win our opening game….I hesitate to guess further…

all of this stuff about Petrino possibly being the HC once Sam leaves... I thought there wasn't a chance of that happening, and then I got a message from a friend.

Since evidently the Hunts and Waltons are beginning to help with FB nil, several believe that Petrino with a great NIL would do wonderful as a HC again. Takes out the "Vibrant" personality in his coaching

I still think it would possibly be a disaster with how kids can leave during portal openings for more $$$ etc.. but???

I received a message this weekend as well, that 10+ players are about to hit the portal soon. That can't be a positive for the program.

Gotta make space somehow if we’re gonna improve our depth
