I believe Danny said three starters were out that day. Then you have to factor other starters like Boyd, Woods and O’Grady are out as well.

Gonna be terrible again, just a heads up. One reason you haven't seen much spring football coverage is because the team looks so bad.

Title should remove the Spring piece and it would be accurate.

Can't blame anyone for NGAF.

We're Mizzou South or A&M North as a compliment.

Depends on what Hicks feels like that day. He can be great and then all of a sudden tank. It was frustrating watching him implode at SMU with the nations best WR.

I now regret this thread. I was hoping to see that we have something to look forward to. Now I just hope Nike gives us some cool uniforms.

Probably will be another year before the underclassmen have had enough time to grow to fix the problems in the trenches.

I think they'll win all the non-con games but go 0-8 again in conference.

Sadly i am somewhere in the 4-5 wins range. Maybe 6 if we win all non con and beat KY+OM

I could see us getting 6 wins but if we don’t beat Ole Miss then that would be tough. They may be worse than last year.

You realize Kentucky was ranked in the top 15 this past year and beat Florida and Penn State? They lose a lot but they're going to kick the ever living shite out of us.

We got blown out by Vandy and Mizzou last year.

We'll be lucky to win all the non conference games.

Kentucky, State and Ole Miss all lost a ton. If we can get marginally better, all 3 are winnable games.

Had a lot of those last year.

Until this staff and team proves in any fashion they can do anything but lose the winnable games, I'm going to temper my expectations.

I'll give him 3 years but we need to be in the 7-9 win range by 2020.

I hate spring football. When our offense lights it up I think our D sucks.

When our D is looking tough, I'm convinced the offense sucks.

yeah, all of the above.

i can understand why we suck, but it's hard not to look at last year and the slow progress at SMU and not wonder if there might be a coaching-up problem along with the player-system-fit problem

We're not gonna be able to tell for sure how the season will go until everyone is healthy and we play Ole Miss. I would say set your expectations at 3-5 wins so you don't get disapointed but I can honestly see as many as 7 and if we're way better than expected 8. Our new WRs and a half decent QB could be a problem for some teams. We'll be improved at basically every position, it's just about how much improvement can we make.
