I thought Jefferson did a great job in the game on Saturday.

Morris didn't seem to give him many in game reps last season.

Two huge pluses. I hope not but if franks has a rib injury playing him vs bama is could be bad news

If I remember right he got a really bad concussion in his first game as starter and didn't play the rest of the year.

I truly hope Franks can't play. It does nothing for his draft stock and, honestly, I think Jefferson gives us a better chance to move the offense. Franks taking a beating and holding the ball too long is going to be a disaster. KJ at least gives you the scrambling ability that has been shown to be Saban's weakness.

Just say Franks is still injured (which he probably is) and move on to get KJ more live reps for next year.

I would assume Franks is done. He has proven as much as he is going to prove this year honestly.

KJ getting reps will be good. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a blowout, maybe to see Malik.

Damn near fainted when I saw him feel the pressure from behind him without even looking and pivot around to get away from the rush and turn it into a positive play. That's the shite we've been missing all year and part of the reason why we've given up the most sacks in the conference.

I know exactly the play(s) you're referring to, and I about had a heart attack when it looked like the DE was going to end his life and he just evaded pressure like he was playing tag with a toddler.

If Franks is healthy then I say play him and pray that we can somehow be competitive with Bama. Otherwise play KJ if Franks isn't 100% or if they start to pull away early.

I've seen some people say they don't want to throw KJ to the wolves which I don't really get considering he started last year against the national champions on the road lol.

I mean why?

There is literally zero value in it. We're not going to come close to beating Bama, even with Franks.

Give KJ the reps. Don't understand how'd it would be a discussion but that being said, fully expect our coaches to do the coaches thing and start Franks.

"best chance to win" blah blah.

Probably not but I didn't expect to lead Georgia at halftime either.

Just think Franks should get a shot on senior day even if it's only for a quarter if he can go. I'm cool with playing both of them. An extra quarter for KJ isn't going to do a whole lot really.

UGA isn't that good and they don't have Mac Jones.

Bama is going to be up 3 scores minimum at half. Their WR are going to absolutely work our secondary.

You watched the UF game didn't you? Hell the Missouri game.

While I deeply appreciate what Franks has done for us this season I think you play KJ against the Tide.

Unless Franks is 100%, and rib injuries are slow to heal, we do him or us no favors putting him out there. Remember when Bert insisted on leaving an injured Brandon Allen out there against Missouri? It was the football version of snuff porn.

I remember and we lost because Bert refused to start his younger brother.

Let Franks rest for the bowl game.

Sounds like Clark finally got benched and Bishop will start. And Brooks is hurt so Nick Turner will start at nickel.

Totally agree. KJ needs the reps and he's healthy.
Not saying we'll give Bama a run for their money but let Franks heal up for a bowl game.

I doubt we beat them by enough to put Malik in.
