Does dvh getting anything named after him after he retires?

Idk if the field or clubhouse is available but if so something deserves his name on it.

It is way too early to be talking about this subject. Dave still has a lot of years left in him and we need to sit back and see what else he can accomplish.
Let's hold off on naming things and see if he can win a national title or two first.

I like DVH but I’m not sure he’s even surpassed Norms legacy at this point. Long way to go before we start naming buildings after him. Though I think he’ll get to that point by the time he retires.

Norm only went to 1 or 2 cws his entire career. Dave is well past norm

It would be awkward with all the trophies housed within belonging to Norm DeBriyn with one trophy under DVH with an * since the team was largely assembled by Norm.

Some of you must think Arkansas had no baseball history prior to 2003. Norm left DVH a team that went to the Super Regional, that DVH was able to get bounced from the Regional with the following year.

So your saying he has? Dale provided the stats, where does DVH already outrank Norm? He also won conference coach of the year 7 times and has 1100 wins, a number DVH won't likely reach. So please enlighten me.
And don't get me wrong I think DVH is great. Sad when Dale is the only other voice of reason in a thread about DVH

It took norm 33 years to make 4 CWS appearances. DVH has equaled that and he’s in his 16th season. If DVH stays here another 17 years without a CWS appearance then they would be equal.
Norm missed the tournament in half of his seasons. DVH has missed it once. Granted, only 32 teams got in for most of Norms career, but Arkansas has not been a 3 or 4 seed in many, if any regionals under DVH. Therefore they would be making the tournament in a 32 team field. Once again, if DVH stays another 17 years and only manages one NCAA tournament appearance then they would be equal.
Their winning percentages are nearly a wash (Norms is a hair better), but DVH has coached entirely in the SEC while Norm spent most of his career in the SWC. Surely we can agree that the SEC is a much tougher league.
