Didn't have the season he would have liked but, he gave it his all tonight. He fought till the end.

I expect him to be an important figure on next years team.

I remember reading an article where he was almost burned out and wanted to quit then covid happened and and it reenergized him because he didn’t have basketball in his life for a bit. Hopefully he can get back his shooting form next year because he has all the tools to be a dang good guard for us.

Desi made some good plays today. Having an experienced guard like that will help us next year.

Great season and this has been one of my favorite Arkansas sports teams in a long time

He's given so much that it's hard not to love him. I haven't watched the replay, but it seemed like he was guarding Davidson better than anyone else.

Thought that might happen. Damn.

I don't blame the kid, hope he finds success wherever he goes.

Good luck Desi. Thanks for being a Razorback. Hogs will be fine at the position.

He is a solid defender but he just can't score and that has kept him from starting.

But I would rather have a player that can play defense than have a player that can score but gets destroyed on defense. You can teach offense but defense is both mental and physical.

From his statement, Desi didn’t sound like a team player.

Yeah I'd rather Muss get a grad transfer senior than Sills' senior year.

Get someone better for the system.

I don’t get that impression at all. He’s not happy with his role. He’s been surpassed by superior talent, I alway thought he gave a ton of effort when on the court.

I would not the same about some of the football transfers.

"I'm going somewhere I can be Desi Sills and not be (held) back!"

Definitely sounds like he thinks the coaching staff and/or team was holding him back. Definitely doesn't sound like a team player to me

Good luck to him. He played his heart out for us and I wish him the best. Hopefully we fill the spot with some big time talent

I’m paraphrasing but one of his lines was something about “I want to go somewhere where I can be Desi Sills and not be held back.”

He thought Muss was holding him back and not allowing him to flourish. Sounds like Desi was all about Desi, not helping the team. It’s disappointing.

Was this on his insta? I saw someone say something like that as well but they never actual said where it came from
