But there is some middle ground between hating everything Texas and creaming your pants every time we get a commit from TX.

Your 100% right but now we have some that act like Texas isn't important at all. Which I get is sort of a reaction to Chad, so its understandable. It obviously shouldn't be the main priority in a coach but is a nice touch if a coach checks the other boxes.

It only took me a a couple days to see you're opinion was worthless.

I guess the others got to see that over the course of years. I'm so sorry I missed out on your likely shitty opinions from before I arrived.

Which is funny considering most of the board (including myself) want to replace him with Norvell, a native Texan.

If the bump wasn’t a post by a guy that rode with Mike until the bitter end you might have an argument

This bump saga is really tearing the board apart when we should all be coming together in happiness over Chad's exit.

Nice deflection. You clearly have a hard on for Texas players. You can root for the team in Waco or College station if you love them so much. You've routinely shown to have stupid, incorrect opinions on the coaching staff and players. Congrats on being one of the people this bump was intended to embarrass.

Most people are just responding to the vilification received a few months ago

Take a step back, this is a damn message board. Some of y'all take this shite ENTIRELY too seriously.

"Vilified on a message board" because someone had a different opinion than you, lol. fricking snowflakes. What's your real life like?

For everyone who wants to put all the blame on the players, did you know we averaged a top 25 class the past five years? The recruiting under Bielema was not historically bad. This Chad Morris coached team is.

Bielema isn't forcing Chad to put Deon Stewart in the game. He's not forcing Chad to have De'vion Warren try two trick plays in the same game. This guy has no fricking clue what he's doing and it shows. He might not even be head coach material at all, as his record as a head coach now stands at 16-31. At some point you have to start blaming the guy in charge.

you're a prick but you were not wrong.

Tapping into Texas talent is still the right way for this program to reach its potential. They need to actually be developed though.

No, what Chad was sold as being was the Texas High School legend who was going to mend all the ties created by tanking the SWC ruining Texas of their conference for Texans.

Petrino and Bert were both able to pull better Texas talent from Texas while not focusing solely on Texas.

Arkansas will get the same caliber of player from Texas no matter how much or little effort the spend in recruiting Texas, so you are right you're going to have to develop them as the ones who are game ready are going to end up at LSU/Bama in the SEC, Texas and OU, the rest go to be wasted in aggyland and Arkansas is left fighting over the scraps with the rest of the big12 schools.
