now divide that by 5 (number of signing classes) and you get an average of 3.002.... so you are wrong there.
BUT beyond that what was Colorado State and North Texas' average star ratings during that time period?

You're right about 2012. I have 2012 synonymous with Smile mentally so I attributed that class to that year.

We won that game too and beat Ole Miss. Wasn't like we got blown out by a G5 like Aggie Bert.

There is no such thing as a bad win.
Chad has racked up 9 bad losses and counting this year.
What was the Citadel's? They took Bama to half time yesterday tied. Just as much relevance as the Coastal Carolina game last year.

Composite and average star ranking are two completely different things. The average star ranking from the composite rankings is the best way to actually look at these things.

Bottom line:
Bert failed. 3-9 was proof of things to come.
Morris is currently failing. 2-10 will be more evidence of things to come.
Plenty of the fire Morris crowd would have been fine with him going 3-9 this season. It showed that at least he was as competent as Bert. His recruiting is great but not much better than Bert's especially when you consider his god awful first class.
Morris just coached us to probably our worst loss against the cowbells.
There will be a complete 180 if Morris finds a way to be win--- f that - be competitive against Mizzou.
Bowl game or bust next season.

No I expected not to get blown out by North Texas and Vandy. Before the season, the popular opinion was that Arkansas needed to win all four non conference games and then beat Ole Miss and Vandy to make a bowl. That seemed achievable by pretty much everyone. I don't remember a single person predicting a 2-10, 3-9 or even a 4-8 record. Chad failed this season and it's ok to acknowledge that.
